Who We are.
Syncopate Studios, with its home base on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, comprises professional music tutors who excel in their craft, and aim to impart their musical knowledge to students through private and group tuition, as well as through running school co-curricular music programs, workshops, and music camps.
Each of our tutors has multiple years’ experience in teaching their instrument, and many of them have degrees in both the education and music sectors. Syncopate Studios has a high standard of excellence in its products and services, and ensures that all tutors retain current Working with Children Checks, and do regular professional development.

Dani Cosford – Founder of Syncopate Studios
Playing in every school band she had access to from a young age, Dani grew up learning orchestral percussion, before switching to drum kit. Following school, she continued in her love of playing, with an education degree majoring in music.
Dani has taught private music tuition for over 14 years, in a range of schools and private institutions, and from kindergarten students to adults. She is passionate about seeing students develop a love of music, and learn in a way that suits their learning needs. Being a qualified school teacher, she has developed her teaching methods through teaching classroom music in both Primary and Secondary, and through conducting numerous small and large ensembles.
Dani has been overseeing and coordinating school co-curricular music programs for over a decade, taking students on interstate tours, and running performances, workshops and music camps. She is a passionate live performer and session musician, and loves imparting her musical knowledge to aspiring musicians.
